The information we collect
Harley-Davidson/Buell collects your Customer Identifiable Information if you visit this Web site and request information regarding one of our programs, products or services (e.g., rentals program), enroll as a member in our communities (e.g., H.O.G.), or request other information (e.g., investor information). You can provide us your Customer Identifiable Information at three locations on the Harley-Davidson site: (1) you may fill out an electronic Information Request Form to receive information regarding Harley-Davidson programs, products and services; (2) you can sign-up to be a H.O.G. member (for some countries, H.O.G. provides an electronic membership sign-up form - in other countries it is a PDF file that must be printed and mailed to us); and (3) you can request certain investor information by providing us your contact information under the Investor Relations section of this Web site. You can provide Customer Identifiable Information on the Buell site by filling out an electronic information Request Form to receive information regarding Buell programs, products and services.

"Customer Identifiable Information" means any information relating to a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, from that information by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. The Customer Identifiable Information we collect about you can include name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, driver's license number, IP address, which Web sites you come from, which pages you visited at this Web site, and other information about your online activities on this Web site. This information may be merged with other information Harley-Davidson/Buell already knows, such as whether you are the owner of a Harley-Davidson® or Buell® motorcycle or a member of H.O.G.® or BRAG®, etc., or information available from other sources, such as our distributors and dealers.

How we use the information
Harley-Davidson/Buell will collect and use your Customer Identifiable Information to respond to your inquiries; market and sell to you Harley-Davidson/Buell products, programs, and services; and market and sell to you Harley-Davidson/Buell branded products, programs, and services offered by its distributors, dealers, rental operators, and Business Alliance Companies. "Business Alliance Companies" are third party businesses that have entered into a contract with Harley-Davidson/Buell to market, offer, sell, distribute, endorse, or sponsor a Harley-Davidson/Buell branded product, program, or service.
